Ashley grew up in Greensboro, NC. She graduated North Carolina State University with bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. After graduation, she worked as a software engineer and Oracle database administrator for ABB, Inc., supporting the company’s custom electrical and mechanical transformer design software.
After 10 years of working in software technology, she decided she was ready for a new, and very different, challenge. In 2004, she entered law school at the University of North Carolina School of Law. She realized that her interest and her passion were in dealing directly with people and families, so she chose to focus her practice in the areas of Real Estate, Estate planning and Administration, and Elder Law.
Ashley lives in Cary with her husband John and two sons, Sebastian and Ethan. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her boys, catching up with friends, and amateur photography.
