A graduate of Davidson College (BA, 1973) & the Wake Forest University School of Law (JD, 1976), Bill has practiced law for over 48 years. He maintains an “Av-Preeminent” attorney rating by Martindale-Hubbell & a “10-Superb” Avvo attorney rating, the very highest offered.
Ashley Fox
Senior Associate
A graduate of the North Carolina State University (BS, 1994 & 2004) & the University of North Carolina School of Law (JD, 2008), Ashley has practiced law for over 10 years.
Thomas E. Alexander
Associate
Thomas E. Alexander is a North Carolina native and lives in Garner. He earned his BS degree from Western Carolina University in 2011 and then worked for six years as a Broadcast Engineer in Raleigh and Greensboro.
Mariah D. McKinney
Of Counsel Fiduciary Litigation Attorney
Mariah has dedicated a little more than the past decade to representing fiduciaries in their roles as executors, trustees, guardians, and decision-makers under powers of attorney. She has negotiated many out-of-court estate and trust settlements to protect her clients from litigation.

Tracy P. – Medicaid Program Manager
A graduate of East Carolina University (BS), Tracy has worked at W.G. Alexander & Associates since 2006. She serves as a liaison for clients and nursing homes. She is originally from Faison’s Old Tavern. Tracy currently lives in Wake Forest with her husband, two daughters, and Zeus the German Shepherd.
Cassandra “Cassie” B. – Legal Assistant & Client Reception
A graduate of Grand Rapids Community College (AA), Cassie joined W. G. Alexander & Associates in June 2021 as a legal assistant and front desk receptionist. A West Michigan native, Cassie currently lives in Garner with her husband, three children, and two Siberian Huskies. In her spare time, she can be found attending various sporting events, reading, gardening, and building her own business.
Virginia “Ginny” C. – Legal Assistant
Ginny graduated from Duquesne University Paralegal Studies program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She joined W.G. Alexander & Associates in September 2021 to assist attorney Ashley Fox with estate administration. A West Virginia native, Ginny currently lives in Wake Forest with her cat, and when not gardening, she enjoys her four grandchildren and all their sports.
