Year-Round Veterans Discounts
We hope that veterans enjoyed the festivities of this past weekend, and that they were able to take advantage of the specials we discussed in a prior blog entry. However, it is important to note that some businesses extend their support to veterans and their families beyond the holidays. Well, the people at AMVETS.org have another listing for you!
See below for a few North Carolina businesses that support veterans year-round:
Foot Locker offers veterans, service members (Active, Guard, and Reserve), and their immediate families with a Foot Locker Veterans Advantage Card receive a 20 percent discount every day of the year.
Home Depot offers a 10 percent discount (up to a $500 maximum) to all active military, reserve, retired, disabled veterans and their family members. A valid military ID must be presented for the discount.
Lowe’s offers a 10 percent discount offer for all active duty, National Guard and Reserve, retirees, and disabled service members and their immediate families. A valid military ID card must be presented to receive the discount.
